Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch (born January 19, 1981) was an American actress. She is well known for the character of Eve/Juliette Silverton on The NBC show Grimm. Tulloch is a Californian born actress, who was raised her life in Spain Uruguay, Argentina and San Diego. Tulloch goes by Bitsie and is not a diminutive of her real name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her grandfather who was a bizarrely named World War II bomber pilot who also was part of the fatal 1961 Goldsboro B-52 accident. Tulloch was born in 2007 and began performing in the year 2007, was referred to as Bitsie. That continued until 2017 when she switched to Elizabeth. I still introduce myself as Bitsie to people I meet. The name worked for me as I started acting in my early 20s. In my 30s, and I feel as though for reasons of billing I would like to go back to Elizabeth. If I had done a movie I never thought about it. thought of it. The producer said "Hey we saw Elizabeth as we completed the legal papers." Do you want to invoice that way? When I sat down to consider it I phoned my manager and agent. Both said yes. It's a bit older. And Bitsie is clearly a kind of cute name. It's cutesy. This is all there was to it. There is no way to introduce myself as Elizabeth now. This is just to keep on top of my billing. Tulloch has both Scottish as well as Spanish roots. Tulloch claims that her primary mother tongue was Spanish although she no longer considers herself completely fluent. The paternal grandparents of Tulloch's father are native to Renfrewshire in Scotland and her grandparents were from an area near Kirkwall. In an article for BBC News, she stated that she believes that the Tullochs came to the US in the year 1880. The Kerrs were among them around the turn century. In the U.S., she attended Bedford High School as well as Middle School. Tulloch has a Harvard University degree in English as well as American Literature and Environmental Studies.
